Plymouth, MN will host the annual Winter Bluegrass Festival this weekend, drawing musicians from throughout the Upper Midwest.
They'll be pickin' in the halls and grinnin' all over the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center this weekend as more than 50 bluegrass bands, amateur and professional alike, descend on Plymouth for the annual Winter Bluegrass Weekend.
The event, organized by the Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Association on the first weekend of March each year, attracts several thousand music fans who come to enjoy a break from the winter doldrums in the form of a three-day indoor music and dance festival.
Ah, we so bad wanted to go but it is a 600 mile drive. (J.W.)

Motels are hard to get because of the ACD festival in Auburn about 20 miles away. Best bet is to get a room in Fort Wayne on the north side. Some motels are listed here
