What Is It?

The ArtistWorks Academy of Bluegrass offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar and bass players access to one of the most comprehensive curriculums, as well as a number of interactive social features.  Hundreds of instructional video lessons teach students everything from tuning their instruments, chords, scales and arpeggios to  improvisation, bowing and picking techniques, and lots of great Bluegrass tunes.  Unlike other video-based sites and DVDs, this innovative online music academy gives students the opportunity to send their teacher a recorded video of themselves practicing and receive personal feedback and individualized instruction in the form of a video response.  Students from all the Schools can also meet and socialize at the Academy of Bluegrass Hub.
