Wednesday, March 3, 2010 – Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, led by the founder of Traditional Grass two decades ago, is back with a new album on Rebel Records, the label announced today. The band's first project for the label, "Rambler's Call," will be out March 30 with a mix of old and new songs done in traditional bluegrass style.
A native of southwestern Ohio and son of bluegrass DJ, fiddler and pioneer Paul "Moon" Mullins, Mullins founded Traditional Grass, a band which recorded four albums for the label in the early 1990s. His new group has been together since 2006 with Adam McIntosh on guitar and vocals, Evan McGregor on fiddle, Mike Terry on mandolin and vocals and Tim Kidd on bass.
